(ARRESCON) is a nonpartisan, for-profit organization that conducts policy research with the goal of developing workable solutions to the world's most pressing problems. The goal of ARRESCON is to study geopolitical challenges. Our ideals include impartiality, autonomy, creativity, cross-disciplinary scholarship, honesty and professionalism, and talent development. These values serve as our compass. For their research, analysis, and recommendations, ARRESCON analysts draw on their policy expertise and sound judgements. We host conferences, write ups, speak, and appear in the media to disseminate information and awareness about policy issues among relevant stakeholders and the general public. ARRESCON has an impact when our research helps to inform the decisions that were made by key decision-makers. We strive to actualize our vision of a better educated society. ARRESCON began as a think tank in Malaysia that focused on geopolitical issues. ARRESCON describes itself as a primary and secondary source of accurate, objective information on national and international strategic issues for politicians and diplomats, foreign affairs analysts, international business, economists, the military, defence commentators, journalists, academics, and the informed public. In addition, the ARRESCON conducts research on legal, social, economic, and socio-political policies. The think tank is independent of any government, political party, or other organisation.
